This stem is long, slender and  wired throughout.  Its sheath is lightly flocked, giving it a velvety look and rendering its shade sage green.  It divides into three sections, two with fully open light peach or blush poppy flowers and one with a poppy bud. The silk petals contrast with their dark, textured centers.

• About 20" long from the bottom fork to the tip of the bud
